A source told the portal that Manish Shah had bought the Hindi rights to the movie 'Pushpa: The Rise Part 1' for Rs 26 crore. He has spent about Rs 5 crore on dubbing and Rs 11 crore on digital technology, including release. As such, he has invested a total of Tk 44 crore.
The distributors of 'Pushpa: The Rise Part 1' had hoped that the movie could raise a total of Rs 40-41 crore, which would cover all the expenses. Manish Shah has sold TV rights for Tk 30 crore and digital rights for Tk 10 crore. Goldmines Telefilms Net has collected Rs 60-61 crore from the Hindi version of the movie. This means that Manish Shah has earned about 40 crore rupees.
After the box office shake, this time 'Pushpa: The Rise Part 1' is going to be released on the OTT platform. The movie has entered its fifth week. The Hindi version will be released on Amazon Prime Video. Trade analysts believe that there will be a good collection.
