In terms of technology, India is slowly gaining ground, but the world of technology has passed into the hands of Indians. You don't need to read rocket science to understand this. Silicon Valley is now under Indian control. Needless to say, Indian students own more than a dozen companies in Silicon Valley. He is now the CEO of Indian descent in big tech giants like Google and Microsoft. Why only Google or Microsoft, from IBM to Adobe - Tech Tech (Global Tech Companies) the number of Indians in the top positions is huge. Even another Indian - Parag Agarwal - slipped into his shoes after Jack Dorsey stepped down as Twitter CEO late last year. According to statistics, the CEOs of 16 of the world's leading technology companies are of Indian Origin. Let's find out on the 63rd Republic Day, who is on that list, some information about them.
1) Beautiful Pichai
The beautiful Pichai Hyderabad student is now the CEO of Alphabet INC, Google's parent organization. In 2019, this responsibility fell on his shoulders. In 2014, he became the head of Google. Sundar Pichai, a former student of IIT Kharagpur, later did her MS from Stanford, USA. He did his MBA from Wharton in that country.
2) Satya Nadela
Satya Nadela was born in Hyderabad. My father was an IAS officer and my mother was a professor of Sanskrit. Nadela became the CEO of Microsoft in 2014. He was also made the chairman of the organization again last year. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka. She received her MS from the United States in 1990. Joined Microsoft in 1992. Nadela later did her MBA in 1997.
3) Shantanu Narayan
Shantanu Narayan is the CEO, Chairman, and President of Adobe Inc. He also migrated to America from Hyderabad for higher studies. Joined Adobe in 1997, as Senior Vice President. He became CEO in 2005 and was made CEO in 2006. Shantanu, a science graduate from Hyderabad, did his MBA from the University of California. After that, he did MS from Bowling Green State University.
4) Arvind Krishna
Arvind Krishna became the CEO of IBM in 2020. He was born in Andhra Pradesh. After graduating from IIT Kanpur, he moved to the United States to pursue a Ph.D. He did his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He then started working at IBM in 1990. In his long career of three decades, Arvind Krishna has worked in several senior positions at IBM.
5) Revati Advaita
Flex Ltd., the world's third-largest contract electronics maker. Revati is the CEO of that company. He was given this responsibility in 2019. Birla immigrated to the United States after graduating from the Institute of Technology and Science. While there, he earned an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
6) Nikesh Aurora
Palo Alto Networks, a US cybersecurity firm. Nikesh Aurora joined as the CEO of this company in 2016. He has worked for Google and Softbank for a long time. Nikesh graduated from the Institute of Technology, Benares Hindi University. He later moved to the United States to pursue an MBA from Northeastern University and a master's degree in science from Boston College.
6) Jayshree Ullal
Jayashree, who is of Indian descent, has been the President and CEO of Arista Networks, an American computer networking company, since 2006. Under his leadership, Arista Networks was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014. He received his bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University and his master's degree from Santa Clara University.
6) Pollen Agarwal
The CEO of Twitter is now Parag Agarwal. Parag came to the place in December 2021 after Jack Dorsey resigned as the CEO of Twitter. In 2011, he took over as CTO of Twitter. Parag graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prior to Twitter, he worked for Microsoft, AT&T, and Yahoo. Has handled multiple important responsibilities.
9) Anjali interest
Anjali Sood, CEO of American video platform Vimeo. In 2016, Anjali, of Indian descent, became the CEO of this video hosting, sharing, and services platform. The woman worked long hours at Amazon and Time Warner before working at Vimeo. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
10) Sanjay Mehrotra
Sanjay, CEO of US semiconductor company Micron Technology Inc. He is the co-founder of Sandisk, a memory chip maker. Prior to founding Sandisk, Sanjay, of Indian descent, worked at Integrated Device Technology and Intel. He was also a board member of Western Digital for several years. Sanjay Mehrotra graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor's and master's degree.
11) George Kurian
George Kurian, of Indian descent, became the CEO and President of NetApp, a US cloud data services and data management company, in 2015. Prior to that, Kurien had extensive experience working for Cisco Systems, Akamai Technologies, and Mackenzie & Company. They were admitted to IIT Madras but did not study there. Graduated from Princeton University. He then did an MBA from Stanford University.
12) Anil Bhushree
Anil Bhusri is the CEO of Workday, a US-based on-demand financial management, and human capital management software. The company was founded in 2005 by Dave Duffield, founder of PeopleSoft. Anil graduated from Brown University and did an MBA from Stanford University.
13) Steve Sanghi
The Microchip Technology Corporation was founded in 1989 by Steve Sanghi. In just two years, he became the CEO of the company in 1991. After graduating from Punjab University, he moved to the United States. There he graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering.
14) Aman Bhutani
Aman Bhutani became the CEO of Godaddy in 2019. Prior to that, he worked in multiple positions at Expedia. He also works at SVP WorldWide. He graduated from Delhi University. He then did an MBA from Lancaster University.
15. Unrestricted gods
In 2016, Aniruddha became the President of Cadence Design Systems, a software company. Prior to that, he worked at Magma Design Automation and IBM. He graduated from IIT Delhi. He did his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
16) Shiva Shirbam
Shiva Shivram is the president of Western Digital, a computer hard disk manufacturer. Prior to that, he worked for companies such as Sandisk and Intel. He graduated from the National Institute of Technology in Trichy and completed his postgraduate and Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
